Hello, I am the designer for the quarterly newspaper for the City of Santa Clara. I came across your photo of the annual clean up and was wondering if we might use it in the newspaper to go along with an article about the upcoming 2010 Annual Clean Up Campaign. I came across your web address while reaching a trip we are planning to California, for a group of middle schools this June. I saw, what I guess to be, your phenomenal photos of Pine Ridge Trail/Sykes Hot Springs and would LOVE to go.

We read up on Sykes Hot Springs and to my heartbreak, we saw quit a few comments about people frolicking in nakedness. This news is of heartbreak, because I really want to add this to our itinerary, however, my husband jerked me back to reality by bring to light the fact that if we did add this to our itinerary, and the parents researched Sykes Hot Springs, they would frown upon us taking their child to a place where there would be naked folks.

Did you and your crew find this to be the case during your trip there? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Also, did you find this to be a difficult hike?
